THE INNOCENTS is a 1961 British adaptation of Henry James' story, 'The Turn of the Screw'.

Threat

The film contains a number of spooky moments, including sight of a man's face looking through a window, and sight of a ghostly figure appearing and the sound of ghostly laughter. There are also verbal references to 'possession'.

The film also contains some mild verbal sex references, including references to a woman being a 'hussy' and being 'dirty minded'.
