THE INCREDIBLE HULK is an action fantasty, based on a Marvel comic series, about Dr Bruce Banner, a scientist who transforms into a green-skinned monster every time he gets angry.

Violence

There are frequent scenes of fantasy violence in which Hulk fights another fantastical character called Abomination; during these fight sequences, the characters exchange crunchy blows and use chains and cars as weapons. In the aftermath of the fight, blood is visible on some bystanders' faces, but there is no empahsis on their injuries. The Hulk is also chased and attacked by the army who use a varitey of weapons in order to stop him, none of which cause any harm to him.

There is a single use of moderate bad language ('bitch') which is directed at a woman, as well as uses of mild bad language such as 'piss' and 'ass'.

There is a mild sex reference when Dr Banner explains to his girlfriend that he 'can't get too excited' whilst kissing her.

There is also a mild drug reference when Dr Banner likens being the Hulk to having ‘poured a litre of acid into my brain’.
