I’M STILL HERE is a documentary examining a troubled year in the life of Joaquin Phoenix, during which he quits acting and attempts to embark on a second career as a hip-hop artist.

Language

There is infrequent use of very strong language ('c**t') and frequent use of strong language ('f**k').

Sex

Strong sex references include men looking at an escort agency online, verbal references to hookers and smelling an anus, and implied fellatio. There is also breast nudity and sight of male and female genitalia.

Drugs

In one scene a character snorts a white powder and in another he snorts a brown substance. Other scenes feature cannabis smoking, although the work as a whole does not condone or endorse drugs misuse.

There is a sequence in which a man appears to defecate on a sleeping man's head.
