ILO ILO is a Mandarin language drama, set in Singapore during the late 1990s, about a friendship between a maid and a young boy.
There are two uses of strong language ('f**k').
A suicide is implied by brief sight of a body lying on a pavement in the distance, with some blood visible.
Violence includes a caning and subsequent brief sight of red marks on a boy's buttocks.
The film also contains mild sex references and natural nudity.
A chicken is seen fluttering around with some blood on its feathers and on the floor beneath it.
There are scenes showing adults smoking, reflecting the period in which the film is set, and a child chokes when he inhales on a cigarette before throwing it away.
