IK ONKAR is a Punjabi language drama in which a group of Sikhs fight against corruption and drugs in Punjab.

Violence

Stylised fight sequences contain punches, kicks and slaps, as well as use of weapons including swords, sledgehammers and baseball bats. Stronger moments include bloody stabbings and shootings, and one scene in which a man is choked to death on a bag of white powder. It is implied that a woman is raped, although no sexual violence is shown on screen.

Injury detail

A bloodied woman is thrown from a moving bus following the implied rape. There is bloody injury detail in the aftermath of shootings, stabbings and fist-fights.

Other issues include frequent but undetailed verbal references to drugs. Visual references include the police planting a bag of white powder on a dead man and a drug dealer seen handing out small packages apparently containing drugs. One man is shown snorting powder off the back of his hand.

There are undetailed verbal reports of farmers taking their own lives and a dead man is surrounded by mourners after having 'consumed pesticide'.

Mild bad language includes uses of 'shit', 'bastard', 'bloody' and 'hell'.
