Note: The following text may contain spoilers

I, FRANKENSTEIN is a fantasy action film about Frankenstein's monster being drawn into a battle between humans and a demon horde.

Violence

Most of the violence is fantastical and occurs between fantasy creatures and humans with superhuman strength. Violence includes fighting with swords and other weaponry. There is little blood: creatures burst into flames when they are killed. There are heavy punches and kicks in the hand-to-hand fighting, and sometimes loud sound effects.

There is a brief scene in which a character's wounds are stitched and another in which a symbol is carved into a forehead. However, the character is a superhuman creature and there is no emphasis on injuries or blood.

There is use of mild bad language ('shit').
