I DECLARE WAR is a Canadian drama about a group of children playing 'capture the flag', with things taking a serious and violent turn.
Frequent use of strong language ('f**k').
There is frequent violence and the children use realistic-looking and sounding weapons, but they do not injure each other, and have to walk up to 'victims' and throw red paint on them to show they have been shot.
There is also moderate threat, with one particular bullying character shown several times menacing another child he has captured, standing on a board which is pinning his prisoner down, and at one point threatening him with a knife. The prisoner escapes by setting fire to the bully's jeans, but does not injure him.
Moderate sex references include reference to 'blow jobs' and loss of virginity, along with joking references to bestiality and the suggestion that Catholic priests are sexually abusive, as the boys banter with each other.
One boy offers another "50 bucks and my friendship" if he agrees to "engage in coprophagia" and eat excrement, but he does not do it.
The bully refers to a half-Korean boy as "a Chink" but is instantly criticised for this.
