Language

There are multiple uses of strong language ('f**k'), as well as some milder bad language (for example, 'prick', 'tosser', 'whoring', 'tart', 'shit', 'bugger', 'screwed', 'arsehole', 'arses', 'bloody', 'balls', 'hell', 'goddamn', 'God', 'Jesus Christ'), and an offensive gesture.

Violence

In one scene, people are lined up against a wall by German soldiers and shot, followed by a brief splash of blood and brain matter against the wall behind them. In another scene, a woman is shot in her head, with accompanying blood spurt. There are also scenes in which a pilot is wreathed in flames, and in which pilots are shot, accompanied by blood spurts.

The film contains scenes of moderate sex, threat, injury detail, and a brief scene in which a woman is hanged. There are also scenes in which adults smoke cigarettes, and which reflect the period within which the film is set.
