Note: The following text may contain spoilers

HUNKY DORY is a drama, based on true events, in which a teacher helps her students stage a rock 'n' roll version of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k').

There are occasional scenes of racist behaviour and uses of discriminatory language (e.g. 'Paki', 'poof'); the work as a whole does not condone discriminatory attitudes or language, however. Moderate sex references include references to 'shagging' and to a female student being 'the school bike'. One student calls another 'prick tease'. Other issues include glimpses of students smoking what appears to be marijuana.
