THE HOOLIGAN FACTORY is a comedy about a young man seeking to live up to his father's reputation as a notorious football hooligan during the 1980s.

Language

Two uses of very strong language (‘c**t’) and frequent use of strong language (‘f**k’).

Violence

The work is a parody of recent British films about gangland and football violence, and features scenes showing factions of hooligans fighting, as well as shootings between rival criminals. Although the violence is strong, with occasional gory detail, it is played out in an exaggerated comic style that lampoons the more realistic violence in the films that are being parodied.

Sex

The film contains a comic sex scene, strong sex references, and sexualised nudity.

Drugs

The film contains scenes of hard drug use, including the snorting of cocaine from women’s naked bodies. The men indulging in this activity are portrayed as both inadequate and unattractive, which undercuts any sense that the drug use is being glamorised.
