HITCHCOCK/TRUFFAUT is a documentary about the iconic 1962 interview between the two film-makers.

Sex

Occasional moderate sex references include mention of a character in a film getting an erection, as well as his desire for a woman being defined as metaphorical necrophilia.

Violence

Scenes of moderate violence occur in various clips from Hitchcock's films, including a stabbing, a character staggering through a market with a knife protruding from his back, and a woman being stabbed in a shower. Sight of blood and injury detail is limited throughout.

There is a very brief moment of sexual threat in a film clip in which a man tears off a woman's dress, although no nudity is visible.

Infrequent mild bad language includes use of the term 'bullshit'.

Images of Hitchcock, Truffaut, and characters from their films smoking cigars and cigarettes occur throughout.
