HEROINE is a Hindi language drama with some English dialogue. It follows the career of an Indian film actress who faces professional and personal challenges as her popularity fades and her relationships suffer.

Language

The film contains four uses of strong language in English ('f**k'), alongsider milder terms including 'bitch' and 'twat'.

Sex

There is a sex scene between the central character and her lover. A brief montage shows the couple embracing, kissing and caressing each other. Only their upper bodies are shown and there is no nudity. The heroine also records some of this activity on a camcorder, which is later leaked to the media as a 'celebrity sex tape'. There is also some undetailed sexual activity during the shooting of a film.

Moderate verbal sex references occur during a film shoot in which the central character plays the part of a prostitute, as well as during a press conference. The references are not crude or particularly detailed.

There are some scenes of smoking by the main characters in the story.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
