Note: The following text may contain spoilers

HERO OF SHAOLIN is a martial arts action film about a group of monks who are pursued by ninja gangs attempting to stop them from taking a holy manuscript to Tibet.

Violence

There are numerous scenes of highly stylised and choreographed martial arts fighting in which blows are delivered with fists, feet and various bladed weapons. The focus of these scenes is on the stunt work rather than violent detail, although there are some bloody images in the course of the combat.

Threat

A female character is briefly threatened with sexual assault but her attacker's intentions are thwarted. The scene contains no significant nudity.

There is also a brief image of a female assassin baring her breasts during a fight in an attempt to distract her opponent.
