Note: The following text may contain spoilers

HELL BENT FOR LEATHER is a Western, from 1960, about a man who goes on the run with a female hostage, after being falsely accused of murder.

Violence

Several gunfights, but with very little detail and no sight of realistic injuries. A man is hit across the face several times with a leather strap in order to make him give up information. The blows are loud, but leave just one small red mark and the man does not appear to be in pain afterwards.
