HELIX is a US sci-fi drama about a newly promoted policeman who suddenly finds himself framed for murder.

Language

There are multiple uses of strong language ('f**k'). Other bad language includes 'son of a bitch' and 'shit'.

Nudity

There is some sexualised breast nudity as a woman lies naked on a bed after meeting a man on a night out. The man also drops his trousers but his hands cover his genitals.

Violence

A man is repeatedly hanged and then dropped on a noose as he is tortured and questioned.

There are also some scenes of moderate violence as men are punched, headbutted or put into chokeholds. One man spits up some blood after being struck. A bloodied body is briefly seen in the background after an off screen murder and there is a later shot from inside the ripped open body cavity, with sight of bloodied ribs and flesh.

Other issues include some drug use, with people entering a club filled with a fictional drug that appears in the form of small flies. One man's vision is affected by the drugs and other people are seen to be catatonic from the drug use.

There are also some sex references as a man briefly holds a dildo in the air as a joke and another man comments on the presence of 'pussy' in a part of the city.
