HAUNTER is a horror film set in the early 1980s, about a teenage girl who endures an ever repeating day while the house the family live in is haunted by a ghost.
- Threat
The film contains supernatural threat to characters throughout. A Ouija board is also used in some scenes. Some shock moments occur, such as brief sight of a character's face burning when they are trapped in a furnace, and a scene in which characters rapidly decay into a near-skeletal form.
There are some sequences in which the threat is not supernatural, such as when characters are poisoned or kidnapped and imprisoned.
Moderate violence is present on occasion, such as when a character is choked during a fight. The film contains some mild bad language, such as 'bastard', 'God' and 'son of a bitch'. Some adult characters are also seen smoking in scenes.
