HANNAH ARENDT is a biopic about the political theorist and philosopher Hannah Arendt.

Language

The moderate language comprises two uses of the term 'whore'. Very mild language in the film includes infrequent uses of the terms 'God' and 'damn'.

Sex

In one scene a character describes a famous novelist as "nothing more than the premature ejaculate of the 20th century". In another scene a character says, "Every time I write a sex scene I have you horribly on my conscience."

Smoking

The film is set in the 1960s, and includes smoking throughout.

There are also references to the Holocaust.
