THE GUNMAN is an action thriller about a man forced to go on the run eight years after the assassination of a Congolese politician.

Violence

There are frequent scenes of strong bloody violence which include sight of blood spurts during shootings, sight of a man being stabbed in the hand as well as having his eye gouged, and also sight of a character being gored by a bull, though none of these moments dwell on the infliction of pain or injury.

Language

There are over forty uses of strong language such as 'f**k'.

There is a scene of moderate sex in which a woman is seen on top of a man, riding him with some mechanical detail, but without any nudity.
