THE GRUMP is a Finnish comedy drama about an old man who is stuck firmly in the past and has to travel to a big modern city for the first time in many years.

Language

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'), with milder bad language including uses of 'damn', 'hell', 'tight-assed', 'ass', 'shit', 'piss', 'bloody' and 'wanker'.

A character uses the term 'negro' to describe someone he has seen. The language reflects the character's age and how out-of-touch he has become with modern social attitudes, rather than being used in a consciously discriminatory way.

The film also contains mild violence, mild sex references, and brief bloody detail when a character has an accident with a power tool.
