GROWING UP SMITH is a US comedy drama in which a ten-year-old boy from India moves to the American suburbs with his immigrant family.

Language

There is infrequent moderate bad language ('dick'), as well as milder terms including 'damn', 'God', 'saala' and 'son-of-a-bitch'.

Drugs

A scene of drug misuse shows teenagers briefly smoking marijuana joints at a party.

There is brief bloody injury detail after a man is shot in the leg whilst hunting.

There is a reference to "unbridled lawn sex" when a boy watches a couple kiss in their front garden.
