GRINGO is a US black comedy in which a businessman gets kidnapped in Mexico.

Language

There is strong language including 'f**k', 'c**ksucker', 'motherf***er', as well as milder terms ('shit', 'damn', 'ass', 'dick', 'pussy', 'piss', 'screw', 'prick', 'bullshit', 'asshole', 'bitch', 'bastard'). There are also uses of discriminatory terms ('retard', 'gringo', 'nigga').

Violence

Violence includes a man having his toe cut off in a torture scene, execution type shootings and a man shooting another at close range with impact blood spray.

Sex

Sex references include crude references to "rim jobs" and "Richard's cock in my mouth", among others.

There are a few racist references including one American character likening an African American character to a gorilla, but the joke is not condoned by the film as a whole. There are also some stereotypical remarks about and imitations of Mexicans.

There are also references to moving drugs around for a cartel.
