THE GRADUATE is a romantic comedy drama, from 1967, in which a disillusioned college graduate embarks on an affair with a married woman and then falls in love with her daughter.

Sex

Moderate sex references include mention of 'seduction' and 'affairs'. Portrayals of a clandestine affair are very discreet with sexual activity limited to the couple in question dressing and undressing and a young man awkwardly grasping a woman's breast through the fabric of her bra.

Nudity

There are fleeting images of female breast nudity during an attempted seduction scene. Another scene set in club features a stripper whose nipples are hidden behind tassels.

Other issues include adult cigarette smoking, brief very mild violence, and infrequent references to an alleged rape that did not in fact happen.
