GOLD is a Hindi language biopic in which the gold medal winning Indian hockey team return to the Olympics in 1948, as a country independent from British rule.

Violence

During a riot a man is doused in petrol but manages to escape. Another man's trouser leg is set on fire as he runs away. Following the violence a man is shown hanging from a tree. However, this is brief and filmed from a distance.

Language

There is racist language when a man refers to the Indian hockey team as 'wogs'. There is also mild bad language ('Salaa', 'bloody', 'damn', 'God', 'hell').
