GLASSLAND is an Irish drama about a son who tries to help his mother with her alcoholism.

Language

There are over fifty uses of strong language ('f**k').

One of the film's themes is alcoholism and addiction. While the overall treatment of the theme is sensitive, there is a scene in which John is forced to help his mother after she vomits over herself.

There a couple of crude sex references when a character refers to 'foreign pussy' and to masturbating.

There is also a brief moment of possible drug use when two characters smoke together.
