THE GIANT PEAR is a Danish children's animation in which two friends go to sea to search for their missing mayor.

On their voyage, the friends encounter brief threat from a gigantic sea serpent and a dark cloud inhabited by peaceful ghosts. There are moments of action threat when our heroes race through a collapsing engine room.
