GANGS OF WASSEYPUR II is the second part of a two-part Hindi subtitled crime drama. It follows the bitter and violent rivalry between two families, from before independence up to the 21st century. It is rated 18 for strong bloody violence and very strong language.

The story centres on the violent conflict between two families and the concluding stages become more intense and bloody in the hands of the next generation. There are scenes of fighting, killing and execution that have a brutal tone, representative of the film's gangland setting. There are also some moments of strong bloody violence which have a sadistic and graphic feel to them. In one scene, a prominent character is sat with his back to the camera as he repeatedly stabs another man with a knife. This results in extended blood sprays, as well as the silhouette image of the victim's severed head in the hands of the killer. Towards the climax of the film, the same character shoots his arch enemy dead in a scene of bloody gun violence. There are repeated gunshots to the character which have a brutal and sadistic quality. After the main character has killed his enemy, he is seen poking his gun into a bloody cavity in the dead man's chest.

The film also contains two subtitled uses of very strong language ('c**t'), which are not aggressive or sexualised and occur during general banter between the gangsters. There are also over thirty subtitled Hindi variants of strong language ('f**k'), as well as some mild bad language (eg 'asshole', 'bastard', 'pissed', 'shit').

There is also some soft drug use and a scene of implied sex.

No-one younger than 18 may see an 18 rated film in the cinema. No-one younger that 18 may rent or buy an 18 rated video or DVD.
