FRANCES HA is a black and white US comedy drama about a young woman without a proper job who struggles to stay afloat in New York after her best friend leaves the apartment they share. It is rated 15 for strong language, one use of very strong language, and strong sex references.

There is one use of very strong language ('c**t') which is not spoken aggressively, and approximately thirty uses of strong language ('f**k'). Mild language includes the terms 'bastard', 'bullshit', 'dick'. 'dammit', 'goddammit' and 'shit'.

Strong verbal references to sex include a passing and undetailed reference to anal sex, one young woman saying to another, "He only had one way he could finish. It was always with me flat on the bed from behind so everything important is covered up". Another young woman makes a reference to ejaculation on her face.

No-one younger than 15 may see a 15 rated film in the cinema. No-one younger than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video or DVD.
