FORBIDDEN is an Iranian drama in which a young woman becomes homeless in Tehran after being rejected by her fiancee.

Threat

Women are shown to be preyed on by men. One flees, weeping, from a man's flat. A woman wakes up to find a man in her bedroom and, having got rid of him, sleeps against the door to keep him out.

Drugs

Characters talk about 'meth', and refer to being 'high'. A woman is seen putting a pipe to her mouth; other drug paraphernalia is seen. Characters smoke an unspecified drug from a hookah. It's implied that drugs are sold to children. Drug misuse is shown to have severely negative impact on characters' lives.

There is mild violence: slaps and shoves, including from men to women.

There is very mild bad language ('hell').

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
