THE FLORIDA PROJECT is a US drama, set over one summer, in which a young mother struggles to provide for her daughter while staying at a motel near Disney World.

Language

There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker').

Sex

A woman begins working as a prostitute, and in one scene takes photos of herself in a bikini to promote her services. There are occasional strong sex references, including a crude fellatio gesture.

There is a sequence of moderate violence, and occasional scenes of imitable behaviour in which children spit on cars, break windows and cause a fire. The work as a whole does not condone or encourage their behaviour.

In one scene, an elderly man approaches a group of children but is quickly escorted away under the assumption that he is a sex offender.

A bag of marijuana is exchanged between two friends, but drug misuse is not directly shown.

There is also partial breast nudity as a woman sunbathes.
