FIGHT CLUB is a 1999 US drama, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, about an insomniac office worker who forms an underground 'fight club' with a maverick soap-manufacturer.
- Violence
There are some strong moments of violence during the underground 'fight club' scenes. These include a man being beaten and repeatedly punched in the face, with close up sight of his bloody injuries, and a man's head being bashed heavily onto the floor. Elsewhere in the film, parts of a dead man's brain are seen falling onto the ground after his hat is removed, and another man is seen with the back of his head missing after apparently being shot.
The film also contains some strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of milder terms such as 'bitch' and 'cock'. There are some sexual images, including pictures of a penis and of a man kissing a woman's breast. A sex scene includes plenty of loud sexual noises and bare breasts and buttocks. There is also an image of a vibrator and references to pornography.
