FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD is a 1967 adaptation of Thomas Hardy's dramatic novel about a woman who inherits a farm and attracts the affections of three different men.
- Violence
A character is shot in the chest and dies. Blood can be seen on the character's chest and another character is emotional as she rubs the wound and spreads the blood around.

There is very brief male buttock nudity when a character strips and runs into the sea.
