EMPEROR OF THE NORTH is a US adventure film, set in the height of the great Depression. A train conductor searches for a man after he becomes a legend for being the first hobo to survive after riding a train for free.

Violence

Scenes of strong violence include characters using a chain, axe, and hammer as weapons in an extended fight sequence. Another scene shows a man using a cockerel to defend himself when he is ambushed.
