EMELIE is a horror film about a young woman posing as a baby-sitter whose three young charges soon realise they are in mortal danger.

Threat

There are a number of scenes of strong threat, which grow more intense as the film continues.

Violence

There are a couple of scenes of strong violence as a character is attacked and later killed; there is some heavy bloodshed seen as a result of a deep wound in the arm of a character.

Sex

There are some strong sex references in a scene in which a couple can be heard having noisy sex in a videotaped recording.

There is a use of strong language ('f**k) spoken by a character under extreme duress.
