ELLE is French psychological thriller in which a successful businesswoman tries to establish the identity of the man who raped her.

Violence

Portrayals of sexual violence include female breast and buttock nudity, accompanied in some cases by the delivery of punches, kicks and slaps. Elsewhere, gameplay footage from a violent fantasy computer game includes implied tentacular rape.

Other scenes of strong violence include blood spurts as a character is beaten about the head with a heavy object, a character being stabbed through the palm of the hand with a pair of scissors, and a character being struck on the back of the head.

Other issues include very strong language ('c**t') and strong language ('f**k'), strong sex and sex references, and nudity.
