THE DEVIL INSIDE is a supernatural horror film in which a young woman investigates the claim that her mother murdered three people while being exorcised.

Threat

There are several scenes in which people are possessed by demons. This causes them to twist their bodies into unnatural positions, accompanied by the sound of bones cracking. One possessed woman bleeds at the groin, indicated by a red stain on her white trousers, and another attempts to drown a baby in a baptismal font.

Injury detail

There are scenes in which the bloody aftermath of violence is shown, including crime scene footage of a triple murder with heavily bloodied bodies lying on the ground. One man has bloodied arms after trying to take his own life and is later shown to shoot himself in the mouth with a visible spray of blood hitting the wall behind him.

Language

There is infrequent very strong language in a scene in which a possessed woman mutters sexual comments.

The film also contains some verbal references to hard drug use.
