THE DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION: PART III is a 1998 documentary about homeless teenage punks in Los Angeles.

Language

One use of very strong language ('c**t'), which is self-directed by a female singer on stage, as well as frequent strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'). The film also contains moderate and mild bad language ('pricks', 'bitches', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'son of a bitch', 'assholes', 'ass', 'pisses', 'dickwad', 'screwing') and offensive middle finger gestures.

Sex

Some strong references to sexual practices in a song, and a scene describing a man's sexual preferences. However, there is no visual detail.

Several scenes in which people refer to their drug and alcohol use. However, these references emphasise the negative consequences.

There are also references to physical and sexual abuse and scene in which a young man vomits in a bathroom that is stained with vomit and excrement.
