DEATH WATCH is a drama starring Harvey Keitel as a man who has a miniature camera placed inside his head allowing the things he sees to be relayed back to a television studio. The film was previously classified 'AA' in 1981 and recently classified '12A' for cinema re-release. This release was classified '12' for infrequent strong language.

DEATH WATCH contains four uses of strong language, one of which is spoken in a sexual context. This infrequent use accords with the BBFC's Guidelines at '12A'/'12' which state 'The use of strong language (for example, 'fuck') must be infrequent'.

The film contains mild violence as a crowd of protestors clash with police. It also contains infrequent sex references such as when a character claims that no one is offended by nudity any more - suggesting it is death that is the new pornography. References to suicide feature towards the end of the film when a character takes some pills.
