THE DAY is a post-apocalyptic horror film in which a group of survivors take shelter in a remote house where they find themselves terrorised by cannibalistic marauders on the hunt for their next meal.

Language

There is a single use of very strong language ('c**t') and multiple uses of strong language ('f**k').

Violence

The majority of the violence occurs in the context of characters meeting gruesome ends during confrontations between the rival factions. In one scene, a male character turns on a woman who is suspected of betraying the group. He punches her face repeatedly and then sadistically removes a tattoo from her leg with a knife.
