DAVID LYNCH: THE ART LIFE is a US documentary in which director, writer and artist David Lynch discusses his formative years.

Language

There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'). Milder terms include 'shit' and 'screw'.

Other issues include infrequent references to smoking marijuana, and occasional non-sexualised female breast and full frontal nudity in works of art. Another painting depicts a creature bursting out of a man's bloody chest. There is also a possible allusion to sexual violence when Lynch tells a childhood anecdote about encountering a crying, naked woman in the street. There is no graphic detail.
