DANS LA COUR - IN THE COURTYARD is a French drama about a depressed insomniac who becomes a janitor in a building, where he bonds with a resident who is suffering a breakdown.

Language

There are multiple uses of strong language ('f**k'). Milder bad language includes 'crap', 'shit' and 'jerk'.

Drugs

There are several scenes of drug use as a man repeatedly snorts heroin and is briefly seen heating some in a spoon. The character talks about the physical and emotional highs and lows that are the consequence of his drug use.

Sex

There is a single strong sex reference as a man leaves a prank message on a woman's answerphone asking "Do you suck cocks, lady? I bet the walls shake when you screw".

Other issues include a still image showing a man's face partly buried under rubble after a building collapse.

There is some mild violence as a man gets another character into a headlock during an argument.

Various characters are also seen to smoke cigarettes.
