CURVE is a US thriller about a bride-to-be who gets trapped in her overturned car after trying to escape from a dangerous male hitchhiker.
- Language
Several uses of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder bad language ('bitch', 'shit', 'slutty').
- Violence
Scenes of violence include those in which a man is stabbed, another is shot with a nail gun, and a scene in which a woman fights a man and briefly jabs her fingers into his wound.
- Injury detail
Some scenes feature bloody injuries following a car crash. There are also scenes featuring a dead man with nails embedded in his head and body, another with knife wounds to his face, and a scene in which a man's heavily bloodied leg is shown after he falls onto a man trap.
- Sex
There are some strong verbal sex references.
- Nudity
There is brief sexualised nudity in scenes featuring DVD pack shots showing women with their breasts exposed.
There is also a scene in which a woman has to kill, cook and partially eat a rat in order to survive; however, there are no scenes of real animal cruelty. In another scene, a woman has to drink her own urine, also in order to survive; however, this scene is simulated.
