CROWHURST is a biographical drama, set in the 1960s, in which an inexperienced sailor competes in a race to circumnavigate the globe.

Threat

There are prolonged sequences depicting the protagonist's mental deterioration. These include discordant sounds, screaming, and erratic behaviour. He also has hallucinations of live and dead fish littering his cabin, although no animals are shown being killed on screen.

In one scene there is brief bloody detail when a man cuts his hand, and the protagonist's face becomes blistered and flaky from prolonged exposure to the sun.

There is occasional use of mild bad language ('bloody', 'bugger').
