THE COUNSELLOR is a crime thriller about a lawyer who becomes embroiled in a drug trafficking deal which fails to go according to plan. It is rated 18 for strong bloody violence.

In one scene a metal wire is wrapped around a man's neck. The man attempts to stop the wire tightening by inserting his fingers between the wire and his skin. However, this merely results in his fingers being severed, as well as his neck, causing sprays of blood and gory detail. The film also contains a number of shoot outs that include bloody bullet impacts.

THE COUNSELLOR also includes strong sex and sex references and strong language ('f**k').

No-one younger than 18 may see an 18 rated film in the cinema. No-one younger that 18 may rent or buy an 18 rated video or DVD
