COTTON WOOL is a British short film in which a seven-year-old boy assumes responsibility for his mother's care after she suffers a stroke.

Theme

Occasional upsetting scenes include one in which a young boy witnesses his mother suffering a stroke. Both mother and child are frightened and distressed. In another scene a woman who is experiencing a mini stroke imagines herself screaming.

Two teenagers exchange shoves and pull each other's hair during a mild fight scene.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
