CHURCHILL is a biographical drama about Sir Winston Churchill in the days immediately before the D-Day Landings.

Language

Mild bad language includes uses of 'bastard', 'bloody' and 'shit'.

Smoking

The film, which is set in 1944, includes several scenes of cigar and cigarette smoking by adults.

There are infrequent verbal descriptions of war violence. In one scene an older Churchill casts his mind back to the Normandy Landings as he stands on a beach. He imagines the sea to be blood red in colour, and in a black and white flashback sequence a couple of dead soldiers are seen lying on the sand. There is no blood or injury detail.
