CESARE DEVE MORIRE - CAESAR MUST DIE is a subtitled Italian drama about a group of inmates at a high security prison in Rome who prepare for a public performance of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar". It is rated 12A for one use of strong language.

The single use of strong language (‘f**k’) occurs during the auditions as one of the inmates is trying out different ways to deliver his lines. It is aggressive, but the aggression is in character and not personally directed. The film also contains uses of mild language including 'pissed off' and 'bastards'.

CAESAR MUST DIE also contains several scenes of mild theatrical violence which include bloodless battles, stabbings with prop daggers and a character committing suicide within the play when he throws himself onto a sword as an act of contrition.

No-one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. No-one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video or DVD.
