CANNIBAL FEROX is 1981 horror adventure in which an anthropologist travels to South America with the intention of proving cannibalism to be a myth.

Violence

There are several scenes of strong bloody violence, sometimes with a sadistic edge, as well as sight of gore and blood in the aftermath of violence and accidents, as well as during acts of cannibalism. Some scenes feature elements of sexualised violence or sexual threat.

There are scenes showing real animals being killed and then butchered. Other issues include nudity, verbal sex references, infrequent strong language ('motherf**ker' and 'f**k'), drug references and drug misuse (cocaine being snorted and rubbed into gums).

Cuts information

Compulsory cuts required to sequences of real animal cruelty. Cuts made in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and policy.
