BROTHERS IN ARMS: HELL'S HIGHWAY is a first person shoot-'em-up Xbox 360 game. The player is a US soldier called Matt Baker, taking part in Operation Market-Garden, the largest airborne operation of World War II. It has been classified '15' for strong bloody violence and language.

The strong bloody violence is seen during running battles between Allied and German soldiers, with quite intense gameplay at times. Gun shots result in small blood sprays (or blood clouds underwater) and some shots of men with blood coming from their mouths, but no apparent bodily injuries. The player cannot inflict sadistic damage on fallen enemies. Grenade impacts do slightly more damage, with occasional slow motion shots of bodies flying into the air, blood spraying, and - in the strongest instances - heads being blown off, leaving a bloody stump. All the action has been deemed acceptable within BBFC Guidelines at '15', that direct: 'Violence may be strong but may not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury'.

Strong language is heard infrequently in cutscenes and gameplay, which is permissible under the BBFC Guidelines at '15', which direct 'There may be frequent use of strong language (eg 'fuck')'.
