BROKEN SUN is an Australian drama set in the final days of WWII in which a WWI veteran captures and forms a bond with an escaped Japanese prisoner of war.

Violence

There is a prolonged sequence in which a man is choked to death, as well as a stabbing and soldiers hanging by their necks from tree branches.

There is occasional use of mild bad language (‘bloody’, ‘buggers’, ‘bullshit’, ‘shit’, ‘bastards’), and infrequent use of the racist term ‘niggers’.
