THE BOY AND THE BEAST is a Japanese animated fantasy adventure about an orphan boy who discovers a parallel world of magical beasts who behave just like humans.

Violence

There is moderate violence in scenes featuring fights between animal characters with human attributes. The fighting is occasionally sustained and features punches and kicks, as well as strikes with sticks and swords. A character is stabbed through the back with a sword that results in stylised bloodshed.

There is also mild bad language which includes uses of 'hell', 'damn', 'butt'. 'jerk', 'bastard' and 'crap'.
